Notice of Voicemail Maintenance on January 10, 2011

Date: Monday 1/10/2011

Time: Sometime between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Description: We will be replacing our voicemail server with a new one and we will be upgrading the line cards and software for voicemail to a new version.  You should expect a period of several hours where you will not be able to access any of your voicemail messages as we move the messages from one server to the other and replace the server.  Telephone service should NOT be interrupted at any time.  You will be able to place and receive calls on campus and off campus without interruption.  However, any calls placed during the outage will ring continuously until the calling party hangs up.  The phone system will not prompt callers to leave messages while the voicemail server is down.  The main greeting (“Thank you for calling EHOVE Career Center…”) will also not be functioning.  No previously recorded voicemail messages will be lost.
