New Citrix Address

As of June 1, 2013, the Citrix Portal at portal.ehove.net will no longer be valid and functional.  The new address for Citrix is http://citrix.ehove.net.  

There is no need for you to transfer any of your data over to the new Citrix environment.  Everything that you might need to access is already there and available for you.

MOBILE APP
The Citrix Receiver is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play for Android devices.  To set up your device to use Citrix, use the following settings:
  • Address: https://citrix.ehove.net
  • Description: (this can be anything) EHOVE Citrix
  • Type: Access Gateway
  • Username: (your EHOVE username)
  • Password: (your EHOVE password)
  • Domain: ehove
  • Gateway Type: Enterprise Edition
  • Authentication Type: Domain Only
  • Security Token: Off
  • Ignore Certificate Warnings: Off


APPS
We have upgraded our Citrix environment to the latest version.  Many of the same apps that were available on the old Citrix address will be available on the new Citrix address with the exception of the following programs which are incompatible with the latest software:
  • Sunburst Green Globs
  • TimeMaps
UPDATE CITRIX AT HOME
If you use Citrix at home or at another computer off-campus, you will need to upgrade the Citrix software on the computer before you can start using the new Citrix environment.  To install the Citrix Receiver, see How can I install the Citrix Receiver in our Frequently Asked Questions.

COMING SOON
We are still working on getting the capability for Chromebooks to use the Citrix Receiver app and we are also working on a way for printing to be possible from any device.  We will also be adding more apps and upgrades to current apps in the future.

New Copier Login Procedure

Beginning Wednesday September 12, the procedure for logging in on copiers will change.  You will be required to enter your EHOVE password.  The video below describes the process...



Copier Login Instructions:
  1. Click the List button on the touch panel.
  2. Select your username from the list.*
  3. Press the Password button on the touch panel. 
  4. Type your EHOVE password (the same password as your email password) using the on-screen keyboard on the touch panel.  
  5. Press OK.
  6. Press Login.
  7. You may now make copies.
* If your username is not listed on the copier, you can manually enter your username using the instructions below or you can request your username to be added to the list by submitting a work order.  


Manually Entering Your Username
If your name is not on the list, or if you travel to a different building to make copies, you have the option to manually enter your username.
  1. Press the User Name button.
  2. Type your username using the on-screen keyboard on the touch panel.
  3. Press OK.
  4. Press the Password button on the touch panel. 
  5. Type your EHOVE password (the same password as your email password) using the on-screen keyboard on the touch panel.  
  6. Press OK.
  7. Press Login.
  8. You may now make copies.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which password do I use?

You must use the same password that you use to log in with when you log onto any computer on campus.  This is the same password that you use to log into your email.

Is it OK to give my password to someone else to make copies for me?

No.  It is important that you keep your password safe and secure at all times.  Do not give your password to anyone, not even another staff member.  Each staff member has the ability to make copies using their own username and password.  Since the password to log into the copiers is the same as your network password, giving your password to someone else could potentially pose a security risk with your account.  If a staff member is unsure of what their password is or is having difficulty logging in, they should contact the Tech Department for assistance.

What if I change my password?

If you change your password (or if your password is changed for you), you must use your new password when logging into the copier.  Changing your password instantly changes the password you will use on the copier, so once your password is changed, you must use the new password on the copier as well.

What if I have trouble logging in on a copier?

Make sure you have the correct username selected or entered and also make sure your password is entered correctly.  As with anything else, your password is case sensitive.  So, "password" is not the same as "Password."  If you continue to have difficulty logging on to a copier, but you can log into computers successfully, please contact the Tech Department for assistance.

Where are the copiers located?

There are copiers in the following locations:
  • Building A - in the northwest corner of the Media Center (Library).
  • Building B - in the Teacher's Center off the east hallway near the restrooms
  • Building C - in Bert Schnellinger's office at the east entrance of the building
  • Building D - in the Teacher's Center on the west end of the hallway

Does this change effect the copier in the Adult Education workroom in Building F?

No.

How many copies am I allowed to make?

At this time there is no limit set.

Can I print to the copiers from my computer?

We are currently in the process of making this happen, but it is not set up at the current time.  Check back later for updates.
